My name is Victoria and I am working on a BBC1 series called Modern Masters about modern artists. I’m looking for a specific household item that I believe was quite popular on the high street in the late 70s.
I believe Woolworths ran a line of kitchen wear (a tea tray specifically) inspired by the Picasso blue period paintings, more specifically a tea tray with a blue painting of an old man sitting and playing the guitar.
Do you know of any way to help me track this down? Or is there anyone you can think of who I should speak to? If you could forward this to anyone you know in the antiques world it would be helpful, it’s a bit of a needle in a haystack situation so spreading the net widely is helpful
